Cornet project HP4drying

Integration of heat pumps in dry applications:
Energetic and environmental aspects

This project aims to develop a concept of a dynamic heat pump that adapts to variable input and output conditions during (especially batch) drying processes. The aim is to validate this proof-of-concept through a laboratory set-up and then a pilot arrangement in (semi-) industrial conditions. The technical and economic conditions for optimal application will be determined within various industrial sectors. There will also be some specific case studies developed.

Vlakwa is following this project as an observer in the user committee.
